UV print time auto-calculates from printed square feet, selected mode, and UV settings. Substrate cost is optional.

Electric Signs now auto-builds a rough BOM using depth-based LED spacing defaults. Override spacing only when you want to force a shop-specific layout.

Artwork / File Prep Pricing

These defaults feed the Artwork section on the quote screen.

Flat price overrides hourly minutes. Leave flat price at 0 to calculate by Design labor rate.

Inventory Summary

Shop-only estimate of material and supply value currently on the shelf.

Inventory values will appear here after materials are loaded.
Roll value uses Remaining Ft when entered. If Remaining Ft is blank but In Stock Rolls is entered, it values full rolls. Sheets use sheet count × sheet price. Supplies use quantity × unit cost.

Equipment Rates

Hourly machine rates. Printer rate can be used as a fallback when a printer does not have its own rate.

Paper Printing / Copier Defaults

These are your raw copier contract click costs. The click markup is applied to the customer selling price while the hidden cost breakdown keeps the raw contract cost.

UV Printing Defaults

Default UV settings are starter values. UV quotes use printed square feet ÷ UV speed, plus setup time and ink cost.

Vehicle Wrap Defaults

Wrap install defaults are starting points only. Full commercial wraps default around 22 sq ft/hr; flat trailers are faster; complex curves and deep recesses add time.

Laser Machines

Default laser is 80W. Add more machines if your shop has multiple lasers. Quote screen uses the selected machine.

Rotary Engraving Defaults

Rotary quotes use material area ÷ material engraving speed, plus setup, holes, fill, adhesive, masking, and bit wear.

Router Feed Speeds

Router Add-On Time

Defaults are realistic starting points only. Router quotes use cut feet ÷ feed speed, plus setup, holes, tool changes, and internal letter time.

Printers / Ink

Select printers on print jobs. Ink and print time are calculated from square feet printed.

Starting baseline: 4 × 8 sheet = 32 sq ft, 30 minutes, 34 ml ink. That equals 0.9375 min/sq ft and 1.0625 ml/sq ft.

Database Backup

Export your real prices before testing a new version. Import restores the saved settings on this computer.

Export includes shop info, quote number, suppliers, printers, labor rates, equipment rates, all material prices, customers, and current customer quote items.

Banner Pricing Plan

  • Banner material should become a Quote Component.
  • Tape, grommets, hemming, pole pockets should be separate Quote Components.
  • Design, print, finishing, install, and misc time should become labor Quote Components.
  • Hidden shop details should show true cost, material usage, profit, and margin.

Rigid Substrate Pricing Plan

  • Sheet material should be priced from sheet cost, sheet size, quantity, and markup.
  • Print vinyl, laminate, cut vinyl, premask, drill holes, grommets, rounded corners, and attachments should be separate Quote Components.
  • Rigid groups should stay easy to search: ACM, Coreplast, PVC, Foamboard, Acrylic, Aluminum.
  • Later we can choose whether sheet usage is based on yield, square feet, or override.

Roll Stock Pricing Plan

  • Roll materials need width, length, roll price, supplier, and markup.
  • Print vinyl, laminate, cut vinyl, premask, banner, and magnet can all use the same roll-stock logic.
  • Waste factor can be added later without changing the screen layout.

Labor Pricing Plan

  • Design, print setup, cut setup, weeding, lamination, assembly, install, and misc stay as separate labor categories.
  • Each time field can become a Quote Component with its own sell value.
  • Labor rates live in Settings so they can be changed without touching the quote screen.
